Paliurus spina-christi
Paliurus spina-christi, yang dikenali sebagai Jerusalem Thorn, Garland Thorn, Christ Thorn, atau Crown of Thorns, adalah spesies Paliurus yang berasal dari rantau Mediterranean dan barat daya dan Asia Tengah, dari Maghribi dan Sepanyol ke timur ke Iran dan Tajikistan. Ia adalah pokok renek atau pokok kecil yang tumbuh hingga 3-4 meter. Pucuk zig-zagged, dengan daun dan dua spin stipular di luar setiap kink. Daun bujur, 2-5 cm panjang dan 1-4 cm lebar, hijau berkilat, dengan margin keseluruhan. Buahnya adalah nutlet berkayu kering berpusat di sayap bulat 2-3.5 cm diameter. Nama itu mencerminkan legenda lama bahawa cabang duri digunakan untuk membuat mahkota duri diletakkan di atas kepala Kristus sebelum penyalibannya. Ia dilihat sebagai rasa ingin tahu hiasan dan ditanam di beberapa kawasan yang menyebarkan jangkauannya, termasuk Fiji.
