Countershading
Countershading, atau Thayer's Law, adalah satu bentuk penyamaran. Countershading adalah corak warna haiwan di mana pigmentasi haiwan lebih gelap di bahagian atas dan lebih ringan di bahagian bawah badan. Corak ini terdapat dalam pelbagai spesies mamalia, reptilia, burung, dan ikan, dan telah wujud sejak sekurang-kurangnya tempoh Kretaceous.
