Flexicurity
Flexicurity adalah model negara kebajikan dengan dasar pasaran buruh yang proaktif. Istilah ini pertama kali dicipta oleh Perdana Menteri demokratik sosial Poul Nyrup Rasmussen pada tahun 1990-an. Istilah ini merujuk kepada gabungan fleksibiliti pasaran tenaga kerja dalam ekonomi yang dinamik dan keselamatan pekerja. Kerajaan Denmark memandang fleksibiliti sebagai "segi tiga emas" dengan "fleksibiliti tiga sisi dalam pasaran buruh yang digabungkan dengan keselamatan sosial dan dasar pasaran buruh yang aktif dengan hak dan kewajipan untuk menganggur". Suruhanjaya Eropah menganggap flexicurity sebagai strategi bersepadu untuk secara serentak meningkatkan fleksibiliti dan keselamatan dalam pasaran buruh. Flexicurity direka dan dilaksanakan merentasi empat komponen dasar: 1) perkiraan kontrak fleksibel dan boleh dipercayai; 2) strategi pembelajaran sepanjang hayat komprehensif; 3) dasar pasaran pekerja yang berkesan; dan 4) sistem keselamatan sosial moden yang menyediakan sokongan pendapatan yang mencukupi semasa peralihan pekerjaan. Semua ini dilakukan dalam konteks gaji minimum yang tinggi dan gaji purata yang tinggi, selain cukai progresif yang jelas.
