Globalisasi adalah proses integrasi antarabangsa yang timbul daripada pertukaran pandangan dunia, produk, idea, dan aspek budaya lain. Kemajuan dalam infrastruktur pengangkutan dan telekomunikasi, termasuk kebangkitan telegraf dan keturunannya di Internet, merupakan faktor utama dalam globalisasi, menjana pergantungan selanjutnya aktiviti ekonomi dan budaya.
