Goalball adalah sukan pasukan yang direka khusus untuk atlet buta, yang pada asalnya dicipta pada tahun 1946 oleh Austria Hanz Lorenzen dan Sepp Reindle Jerman sebagai cara membantu pemulihan veteran Perang Dunia II yang cacat. Peserta bersaing dalam pasukan tiga, dan cuba melemparkan bola yang mempunyai lonceng tertanam ke dalam gol lawan.
