The Mandinka, Malinke adalah kumpulan etnik Afrika Barat dengan anggaran populasi global sebanyak sebelas juta. Mereka tergolong dalam kumpulan orang Mandé yang lebih besar. Mereka adalah keturunan Kekaisaran Mali, yang bangkit menjadi kuasa di bawah pemerintahan raja besar Mandinka Sundiata Keita. Walaupun tersebar luas, Mandinka tidak membentuk kumpulan etnik terbesar di mana-mana negara di mana mereka tinggal kecuali Gambia. Kebanyakan Mandinkas hidup dalam sebatian berkaitan keluarga di kampung-kampung luar bandar tradisional. Kampung Mandinka cukup autonomi dan mandiri, diketuai oleh ketua dan kumpulan penatua. Mandinkas hidup dalam masyarakat lisan. Pembelajaran secara tradisional dilakukan melalui cerita, lagu dan peribahasa.
