Nymphaea alba
Nymphaea alba, juga dikenali sebagai White Waterlily Eropah, White Lotus, White Water Rose atau Nenuphar, adalah tumbuhan berbunga akuatik keluarga Nymphaeaceae. Ia tumbuh di dalam air dari 30-150 sentimeter dalam dan suka kolam besar dan tasik. Daun boleh mencapai diameter tiga puluh sentimeter dan mereka mengambil penyebaran 150 sentimeter bagi setiap tumbuhan. Bunga-bunga putih dan mereka mempunyai banyak stamen kecil di dalamnya. Ia dijumpai di seluruh Eropah dan di bahagian Afrika Utara dan Timur Tengah di dalam air tawar. Varietas merah yang ditanam berasal dari tasik Fagertärn (Fair tarn) di hutan Tiveden, Sweden, di mana mereka ditemui pada awal abad ke-19. Penemuan ini membawa kepada eksploitasi besar-besaran yang hampir membuatnya punah di alam liar sebelum ia dilindungi. Nymphaea candida J. Presl kadang-kadang dianggap sebagai subspesies N. alba (N. alba L. subsp. Candida (J. Presl) Korsh.).
