Dalam penggunaan kasual, pendapat istilah mungkin hasil dari perspektif seseorang, pemahaman, perasaan, kepercayaan, dan keinginan tertentu. Ia mungkin merujuk kepada maklumat yang tidak berasas, berbeza dengan pengetahuan dan fakta.
