Peacemaking adalah transformasi konflik praktikal yang difokuskan apabila mewujudkan hubungan kuasa yang saksama cukup kuat untuk mencegah konflik di masa hadapan, selalunya termasuk penubuhan sarana persetujuan terhadap keputusan beretika dalam masyarakat, atau antara pihak-pihak yang sebelum ini terlibat dalam respon yang tidak sesuai untuk konflik.
