Proses planar adalah proses pembuatan yang digunakan dalam industri semikonduktor untuk membina komponen individu transistor, dan seterusnya, menyambung transistor bersama-sama. Ia adalah proses utama yang mana litar bersepadu moden dibina. Proses ini dibangunkan oleh Jean Hoerni, salah satu daripada "lapan pengkhianat", ketika bekerja di Fairchild Semiconductor.
