Positivisme adalah falsafah sains bahawa maklumat yang diperoleh daripada rawatan logik dan matematik dan laporan pengalaman deria adalah sumber eksklusif dari semua pengetahuan yang berwibawa, dan hanya terdapat pengetahuan yang sah dalam pengetahuan yang diperolehi ini.
