Prophase
Prophase, dari Yunani purba πρό dan φάσις, adalah tahap mitosis di mana kromatin memasuki struktur berbentuk dua rod yang disebut kromosom di mana kromatin menjadi kelihatan. Proses ini, yang dipanggil kondensasi kromatin, terlibat dengan kompleks kondensin.
