Galaksi radio dan saudara-mara mereka, quasars dan blazar yang kuat di radio, adalah jenis galaksi aktif yang sangat bercahaya pada panjang gelombang radio, dengan keterlihatan sehingga 1039 W antara 10 MHz dan 100 GHz. Pelepasan radio adalah disebabkan proses synchrotron.
