Redpolls adalah sekumpulan burung passerine kecil dalam keluarga Fringillidae finch yang mempunyai tanda merah ciri-ciri di kepala mereka. Mereka dahulunya dimasukkan ke dalam genus Acanthis bersama dengan selimut dan twite, tetapi saudara terdekat mereka sebenarnya adalah salib, yang diletakkan dalam genus Loxia. Genus yang kedua ini boleh digabungkan dengan Carduelis dalam satu genus, yang namanya Loxia akan diberi keutamaan. Tetapi ini akan mengubah nama sebilangan besar spesies, dan kerana penyesuaian dan biogeografinya secara evolusi agak pelik, lebih baik untuk mengembalikan semula Acanthis, termasuk hanya redpolls.
