APAKAH MAKSUD REPERCUSSION dalam CORSICA?

Repercussion adalah album kedua oleh The dB's. Seperti pendahulunya, Berdiri untuk Decibels, album itu tidak berjaya secara komersil tetapi sejak itu telah membangunkan satu kultus berikut dan kini boleh dikatakan dianggap hanya sebagai klasik sebagai Stands for Decibels oleh peminat peminat kuasa rock dan pop secara umum. DB mula merakam album selepas lawatan singkat pada Mei 1981. Chris Stamey dan Peter Holsapple, penyanyi / gitar band, mempunyai bahan yang cukup hampir dengan segera untuk memulakan album baru. Stamey dan Holsapple masing-masing akhirnya menyumbang enam lagu dalam album itu. Begitu juga kes pada album terakhir, lagu-lagu Stamey telah melencong ke arah melodi dan ritme yang lebih eksperimen, sementara lagu Holsapple lebih tradisional dalam vena pop. Album itu, seperti pendahulunya, dihasilkan dengan sangat sederhana, tetapi terdapat beberapa bukti pertumbuhan dalam bunyi rekod dBs. Trek pertama, "Hidup Berbohong" Holsapple, menampilkan bahagian tanduk dan kedengarannya tidak seperti rekod jiwa lama. Album itu dihasilkan oleh Scott Litt, yang memberi album itu bunyi yang lebih mendalam, menggunakan perkara seperti reverb pada drum yang tidak hadir dalam debut mereka.
