Krameria
Krameria adalah satu-satunya genus dalam keluarga Krameriaceae, di mana satu daripada 17 spesies lazimnya dikenali sebagai Rhatany, ratany atau rattany. Rhatany juga adalah nama yang diberikan kepada akar krameria, ubat botani yang terdiri daripada akar kering dari rhatany atau rhatany Peru. Tindakan biologi rhatany disebabkan oleh asid rhataniatan yang astringen, yang sama dengan asid tannic. Infus telah digunakan sebagai gargle, lozenge, terutama apabila dicampur dengan kokain, sebagai hemostatic tempatan dan ubat untuk cirit-birit. Apabila serbuk halus, akar-akar kering dilengkapi dengan konstituen serbuk gigi yang kerap. Akar serbuk juga telah berkhidmat, terutama di Portugal, untuk mewarna wol warna merah.
