Satyagraha
Satyagraha, diterjemahkan secara longgar sebagai "desakan kebenaran" atau kekuatan jiwa atau kekuatan kebenaran, adalah falsafah dan amalan tertentu dalam kategori keseluruhan yang lebih luas yang umumnya dikenali sebagai ketahanan tanpa kekerasan atau ketahanan sivil. Istilah satyagraha dicipta dan dikembangkan oleh Mahatma Gandhi. Dia mengerahkan satyagraha dalam gerakan kemerdekaan India dan juga semasa perjuangannya di Afrika Selatan untuk hak-hak India. Teori Satyagraha mempengaruhi perjuangan Nelson Mandela di Afrika Selatan di bawah kempen apartheid, Martin Luther King, Jr. dan James Bevel semasa gerakan hak sivil di Amerika Syarikat, dan banyak lagi keadilan sosial dan pergerakan yang sama. Seseorang yang mengamalkan satyagraha adalah satyagrahi.
