Suaeda
Suaeda adalah sejenis tumbuh-tumbuhan yang juga dikenali sebagai seepweeds dan seablites. Kebanyakan spesies terhad kepada habitat tanah salin atau alkali, seperti perairan garam pantai dan tanah lembap pasang surut. Banyak spesies mempunyai daun yang tebal, berair, ciri-ciri yang terdapat dalam pelbagai genera tumbuhan yang berkembang pesat dalam habitat masin. Terdapat kira-kira 110 spesies dalam genus Suaeda. Spesies yang paling biasa di barat laut Eropah ialah Suaeda maritima. Ia tumbuh di sepanjang pantai, terutamanya di kawasan masin, dan dikenali dalam bahasa Inggeris sebagai seablite biasa. Ia juga biasa di sepanjang pantai timur Amerika Utara dari Virginia ke utara. Salah satu jenisnya adalah biasa di Asia tropika di tepi hamparan mangrove pasang surut. Satu lagi jenis spesis polimorfik ini adalah biasa di zon pasang surut di seluruh Australia. Di pantai Laut Mediterranean, spesies Suaeda yang biasa adalah Suaeda vera. Ini dikenali sebagai "blub halus laut" dalam bahasa Inggeris, dalam pembezaan dari laut biasa. Ia tumbuh lebih tinggi dan membentuk belukar.
