Shema Yisrael
Shema Yisrael adalah dua perkataan pertama dari satu bahagian Taurat, dan merupakan gelaran doa yang berfungsi sebagai pusat pelayanan sholat pagi dan malam. Ayat pertama merangkumi intisari monoteistik Judaisme: "Dengarlah, hai Israel: Tuhan kita Allah, Tuhan adalah satu", dijumpai dalam Ulangan 6: 4, yang kadang-kadang diterjemahkan sebagai "Tuhan adalah Tuhan kita, Tuhan sahaja".
