Sindh / sɪnd / Sindhi: سنڌ (Perso-Arabic) सिंध (Devanagari); Urdu: سندھ; Bahasa Latin: Indus; Bahasa Yunani Kuno: Ἰνδός Indós; orang Sindhi. Ia juga dikenali sebagai "Mehran". Nama Sindh berasal dari perkataan Sindhu Indus River yang melalui hampir pertengahan seluruh wilayah. Sungai ini diketahui oleh orang Iran kuno di Avestan sebagai Hindu, di Sanskrit sebagai Sindhu, ke Asyur (seawal abad ketujuh SM) sebagai Sinda, kepada orang Persia sebagai Ab-e-sind, kepada orang Yunani sebagai Indos, kepada Roma sebagai Indus, kepada Pashtun sebagai Abasind, kepada orang Arab sebagai Al-Sind, kepada orang Cina sebagai Sintow, dan kepada orang Jawa sebagai Santri. Sindh dibatasi di barat oleh Balochistan, di utara oleh Punjab, timur oleh negara-negara India Gujarat dan Rajasthan dan di selatan oleh Laut Arab. Ibukota wilayah itu adalah Karachi, bandaraya dan bandar kewangan terbesar di Pakistan.
