Suakin
Suakin atau Sawakin adalah pelabuhan di Sudan utara-timur, di pantai barat Laut Merah. Suakin adalah kemuncak kemewahan abad pertengahan di Laut Merah. Pada tahun 1983 ia mempunyai penduduk 18,030 dan anggaran 2009 ialah 43, 337. Ia dahulunya merupakan pelabuhan utama di rantau ini, tetapi kini menengah ke Port Sudan, kira-kira 30 km ke utara. Kota lama yang dibina daripada batu karang adalah runtuh. Feri berjalan setiap hari dari Suakin ke Jeddah di Arab Saudi.
