Dalam crystallography, sistem kristal tetragonal adalah salah satu daripada 7 kumpulan mata kisi. Kisi kristal tetragonal hasil daripada peregangan kisi kubik sepanjang salah satu vektor kisi, supaya kubus menjadi prisma segiempat tepat dengan asas persegi dan ketinggian. Terdapat dua jenis struktur kristal tetragonal. Kisi Bravais: tetragonal sederhana dan tetragonal yang berpusat. Orang mungkin menganggap peregangan padat berpusatkan muka akan menghasilkan tetragonal yang berpusat pada muka, tetapi tetragonal berpusat muka bersamaan dengan tetragonal yang berpusat pada badan, BCT.
