Triticale, / trɪtɪkeɪliː / adalah hibrida gandum dan rai pertama dibiakkan di makmal pada akhir abad ke-19. Gandum pada mulanya dibiakkan di Scotland dan Sweden. Triticale yang tersedia secara komersil hampir selalu merupakan generasi kedua hibrid, iaitu, silang antara dua jenis triticales utama.
