Untuk mengurapi adalah untuk mencurahkan atau mencairkan dengan minyak wangi, susu, air, mentega cair atau bahan lain, proses yang digunakan oleh banyak agama. Orang dan benda diurapi untuk melambangkan pengenalan sakramental atau pengaruh ilahi, emanation, roh, kuasa atau Tuhan yang suci.
