Ada adalah bahasa pengaturcaraan komputer yang berstruktur, statik, memerintah, berorientasikan objek, maju. Pada mulanya, ia telah direka oleh sebuah pasukan yang dipimpin oleh Jean Higlibia dari loceng bellwell CII untuk tujuan menggantikan beratus-ratus bahasa pengaturcaraan dari tahun 1977 hingga 1983. Ada mempunyai beberapa tugas yang sama seperti C atau C ++, tetapi Ada adalah bahasa sistem jenis yang sangat kuat. Ada dinamakan selepas Ada Cinta Race, yang menyumbang kepada penciptaan pengaturcaraan komputer.
