Hexokinase Ia adalah enzim yang memangkinkan reaksi hexose-6-fosfat yang sepadan dengan memindahkan kumpulan fosfat dari ATP ke glukosa atau hexoses lain dan diedarkan dalam bakteria, yis, haiwan, dan tumbuh-tumbuhan. Hexokinase dalam yis dikristalisasi dan mempunyai berat molekul kira-kira 96,000. Pada haiwan, pelbagai enzim homozigus didapati dalam hexokinase. 헥소키나아제
포도당이나 그 밖의 헥소스에 ATP로부터 인산기를 전이하여 대응하는 헥소스-6-인산의 생성반응을 촉매하는 효소로 세균·효모·동물·식물체에 분포한다. 효모의 헥소키나아제는 결정화되어 있고, 분자량이 약 9만 6000인 단백질이고 동물에서는 헥소키나아제에 각종 동질효소가 발견되었다.
