Genre
Genre ialah satu set kriteria yang longgar untuk karangan kesusasteran; ia juga digunakan untuk menentukan bentuk seni atau ujaran. Dalam mana-mana seni, genre adalah satu bentuk kategori yang agak kabur, tanpa sempadan yang jelas. Genre dibentuk oleh satu set konvensi dan kekadang melintasi sempadan berganda. Skop genre terbatas untuk karya seni dan budaya terutama sekali karya kesusasteraan.
