Nomad
Nomad merujuk kepada cara penghidupan yang berpindah-randah. Orang nomad mungkin mempunyai tempat persingahan yang tetap yang mereka singgah setiap tahun, tetapi masih bergerak setiap tahun ke tempat lain. Contoh orang nomad adalah kaum Mongol. Biasanya kaum nomad terdiri daripada pengembala haiwan yang terpaksa berpindah kerana mencari padang ragut yang lebih subur, bagi mengelakkan padang rumput yang ada daripada kehabisan rumput sama sekali. Terdapat juga kaum nomad seperti Orang Asli di Malaysia yang bertani dan mengamalkan kaedah menebang dan bakar. Mereka akan berpindah selepas tanah hutan yang mereka tanam kehabisan baja dan menjadi tidak subur. Mereka berpindah ke gua untuk kemudahan.
