Ziban, hist. Dibon adalah sebuah bandar di Jordan, yang terletak kira-kira 70 km selatan Amman dan kira-kira 20 km timur Laut Mati. Menurut data alkitabiah dari Bilangan 21: 25-30, Dibon adalah tempat khemah orang Israel semasa perjalanan dari Mesir ke Tanah Perjanjian di bawah perintah Musa. Pertama diterima oleh orang Moab oleh Sheikh Amorit, dan kemudian ditangkap oleh orang Israel. Pada bulan Ogos 1868, mubaligh Jerman F.A. Klein menemui tinggi 124 cm di Ziba Stela Messa. Permukaan rekod diambil, tetapi plat itu sendiri dipotong menjadi kepingan Bedouin sebelum diambil. Sebilangan besar serpihan itu telah pulih, dan kini stela disimpan di Louvre of Paris, sementara Muzium British di London mempunyai salinannya. Stela dibuat pada abad ke-9 SM. di Dibon dan menggambarkan sejarah pemberontakan Raja Mesiah terhadap Israel yang digambarkan oleh dirinya sendiri.

Ziban, hist. Dibon – miejscowość w Jordanii, położona ok. 70 km na południe od Ammanu i ok. 20 km na wschód od Morza Martwego. Według informacji biblijnej z Księgi Liczb 21:25-30 – Dibon to miejsce obozowania Izraelitów w czasie wędrówki z Egiptu do Ziemi Obiecanej pod dowództwem Mojżesza. Najpierw odebrane Moabitom przez Sychona Amorytę, a następnie zdobyte przez Izraelitów. W sierpniu 1868 roku niemiecki misjonarz F.A. Klein odkrył w Zibanie Stelę Meszy o wysokości 124 cm. Zrobiono odbitkę zapisanej powierzchni, ale samą płytę porozbijali na kawałki Beduini, zanim zdołano ją zabrać. Większość fragmentów udało się jednak odzyskać i obecnie stela jest przechowywana w paryskim Luwrze, zaś w Muzeum Brytyjskim w Londynie znajduje się jej kopia. Stela została sporządzona w IX wieku p.n.e. w Dibonie i opisuje dzieje buntu króla Meszy przeciw Izraelowi opisane przez niego samego.
