Kilogram - unit jisim, unit asas sistem SI, ditentukan oleh kg. Ini adalah jisim piawaian antarabangsa. Piawaian kilogram telah disetujui oleh resolusi Persidangan Tindakan Umum Pertama pada bulan September 1889. Ini adalah satu-satunya unit asas dengan awalan, dan satu-satunya definisi objek yang ditakrifkan, bukan rujukan kepada pemalar fizikal.

Kilogram – jednostka masy, jednostka podstawowa układu SI, oznaczana kg. Jest to masa międzynarodowego wzorca. Wzorzec kilograma został usankcjonowany uchwałą I Generalnej Konferencji Miar we wrześniu 1889 roku. Jest to obecnie jedyna jednostka podstawowa posiadająca przedrostek, jak również jedyna, dla której podstawą definicji jest określony przedmiot, a nie odwołanie się do stałych fizycznych.
