Crooner adalah istilah yang melantik seorang penyanyi vokal yang bermain dalam cara vokal tertentu yang diilhamkan oleh gaya melodi yang sangat menarik dan terkenal, ditambah elemen penting balada muzik dan sangat sering jazz. Crooners biasanya disertai dengan orkestra lengkap atau ensemble instrumental yang dipanggil band besar.
