Erinyes, yang juga dipanggil eumenides dalam mitologi Yunani, kegilaan (kemarahan atau dirae) oleh orang Rom, adalah orang-orang jenius yang bersalah yang menghukum pembunuhan manusia. Mereka terutamanya menonton pembunuh (v. Dan Orestes, Alcmaeon), menyeksa mereka atau mengambil fikiran mereka. Mai tîrziu, eriniilor li s-au atribuit și pedepsele la care erau supuși oamenii în Infern.
