împinge „a cheltui”, „a face eforturi economice” reprezintă
lat. impendĕre, cu aceeași confuzie cal
încinde-încinge; însă
ex. aduse nu sînt convingătoare, și se explică mai bine prin
lat. impĭngĕre.
