MASTÍCs n 1) Misa yang terdiri daripada campuran bahan mineral dan tumbuhan yang menguatkan hubungan dengan udara (digunakan untuk merekat, memalsukan, dll.). 2) Resin aromatik asal sayur-sayuran, berasal dari pokok tropika (digunakan dalam pembuatan varnis, dempul, dan lain-lain). 3) Campuran yang mengandungi rosin, lilin dan bahan-bahan lain, digunakan untuk melincirkan laman cantuman dan luka pokok. 4) Ekstrak aromatik aromatik yang diekstrak dari batang pokok tropika, yang digunakan dalam penghasilan minuman beralkohol, dalam penyediaan tasik, sebagai penampung minyak wangi, dll. MASTÍC ~uri n. 1) Masă constituită dintr-un amestec de substanțe minerale și vegetale care se întărește în contact cu aerul (folosită la lipit, la chituit etc.). 2) Rășină aromatică de origine vegetală, provenită dintr-un arbore tropical (folosită la fabricarea lacurilor, chiturilor etc.). 3) Amestec conținând colofoniu, ceară și alte substanțe, folosit pentru a unge locurile de altoire și rănile copacilor. 4) Suc rășinos aromatic extras din trunchiul unui arbore tropical, care servește la fabricarea unor băuturi alcoolice, la prepararea unor lacuri, ca fixator pentru parfumuri etc.
