"Apodyktyczny" lub "apodektor" to adekwatna forma z arystotelesowskiej logiki, która odnosi się do przedstawionych twierdzeń, które są bezwzględnie oczywiste, lub wręcz przeciwnie, są niemożliwe. Apodictyczność lub apodyza jest odpowiednim rzeczownikiem abstrakcyjnym, odnoszącym się do pewności logicznej.
