Casuistry / kæʒuːɨstri /, czy rozumowanie oparte na konkretnych przypadkach, jest metodą w etyce i orzecznictwie stosowanym, często charakteryzującą się krytyką zasad rozumowania opartego na zasadach lub regułach. Słowo "casuistry" pochodzi od łacińskiego casusa. Casuizm to rozumowanie używane do rozwiązywania problemów moralnych poprzez wydobywanie lub rozszerzanie zasad teoretycznych z poszczególnych przypadków i stosowanie tych zasad do nowych instancji.
