W chemii właściwości koligacyjne są właściwościami roztworów, które zależą od liczby cząstek substancji rozpuszczonej do liczby cząsteczek rozpuszczalnika w roztworze, a nie od rodzaju obecnych związków chemicznych. Ten współczynnik liczbowy może być związany z różnymi jednostkami stężenia roztworów. Są one niezależne od charakteru cząstek rozpuszczalnych i są zasadniczo związane z rozcieńczeniem rozpuszczalnika przez substancję rozpuszczoną. Słownik colligative pochodzi od łacińskiego koligalizmu, co wiąże się ze sobą. Właściwości koligacyjne obejmują: ▪ względne obniżenie ciśnienia pary ▪ podwyższenie temperatury wrzenia ▪ obniżenie temperatury zamarzania ▪ ciśnienie osmotyczne. Pomiar właściwości koligacyjnych dla rozcieńczonego roztworu niejonizowanej substancji rozpuszczonej, takiej jak mocznik lub glukoza w wodzie lub innym rozpuszczalniku, może prowadzić do określenia względnych mas molowych zarówno dla małych cząsteczek, jak i polimerów, których nie można badać innymi sposobami.
