Krzemień
Flint jest twardą, sedymentacyjnie kryptokrystaliczną formą mineralnego kwarcu, sklasyfikowaną jako rozmaitość chert. Występuje głównie jako guzki i masa skał osadowych, takich jak kreda i wapienie.
