Gazyfikacja
Gazyfikacja jest procesem, który przekształca materiał węglowy organiczny lub paliwo kopalne w tlenek węgla, wodór i dwutlenek węgla. Osiąga się to przez reakcję materiału w wysokich temperaturach, bez spalania, z kontrolowaną ilością tlenu i / lub pary.
