Globalizacja
Globalizacja jest procesem integracji międzynarodowej wynikającym z wymiany poglądów światowych, produktów, pomysłów i innych aspektów kultury. Postępy w transporcie i infrastrukturze telekomunikacyjnej, w tym wzrost telegrafu i jego potomstwo w Internecie, są głównymi czynnikami w globalizacji, powodując dalszą współzależność działalności gospodarczej i kulturalnej. Choć naukowcy lokują początki globalizacji we współczesnych czasach, inni śledzą historię na długo przed europejskim wiekiem odkrycia i podróżami do Nowego Świata. Niektórzy nawet śladują początki trzeciego tysiąclecia pne. Pod koniec XIX w. I na początku XX wieku zbliżenie światowych gospodarek i kultur rosło bardzo szybko. Termin globalizacja jest coraz częściej stosowany od połowy lat osiemdziesiątych, a zwłaszcza od połowy lat 90. W 2000 r. Międzynarodowy Fundusz Walutowy określił cztery podstawowe aspekty globalizacji: handel i transakcje, ruch kapitałowy i inwestycyjny, migrację i przemieszczanie się ludzi oraz upowszechnianie wiedzy.

Pierwszą definicją globalizacji w słowniku jest proces umożliwiający rynkom finansowym i inwestycyjnym działanie na skalę międzynarodową, w dużej mierze w wyniku deregulacji i poprawy komunikacji. Inną definicją globalizacji jest pojawienie się od lat 80. XX wieku jednolitego rynku światowego zdominowanego przez wielonarodowe firmy, co prowadzi do zmniejszenia zdolności rządów krajowych do kontrolowania ich gospodarek. Globalizacja jest również procesem, w którym firma itd. Rozwija się, aby działać na skalę międzynarodową.
