Guma arabska, znana również jako guma arabska, gałąź chaar, węgiel lub meska, jest naturalną żywicą wykonaną z utwardzonego materiału z dwóch gatunków drzewa akacji; Senegalia Senegal i Vachellia seyal. Guma jest zbierana komercyjnie z dzikich drzew w całej Sahelu od Senegalu do Somalii, chociaż była ona uprawiana w Arabii i Azji Zachodniej.
