Spirala
Helisa jest rodzajem gładkiej przestrzeni, tj. Krzywą w przestrzeni trójwymiarowej. Ma ona właściwość, że styczna linia w dowolnym punkcie tworzy stały kąt z ustaloną linią nazywaną oś.
