Logogram
Logogram lub logogram jest grafem reprezentującym słowo lub morfem. Stoi to w przeciwieństwie do fonogramów, które reprezentują fonemy lub kombinacje fonemów oraz determinatory, które oznaczają kategorie semantyczne. Logogramy są powszechnie znane jako "ideogramy". Ściśle mówiąc, ideogramy przedstawiają pomysły bezpośrednio, a nie słowa i morfemy, a żaden opisany tutaj system logograficzny jest naprawdę ideograficzny.
