Morfometria
Morfometria lub morfometria odnosi się do ilościowej analizy formy, pojęcia obejmującego rozmiar i kształt. Analizy morfometryczne są powszechnie wykonywane na organizmach i są użyteczne w analizowaniu ich skamieniałości, wpływu mutacji na kształt, zmian rozwojowych formy, kowariancji między czynnikami ekologicznymi a kształtem, a także do oszacowania parametrów ilościowo-genetycznych kształtu.
