Kontrola po terminie
W bankowości sprawdzanie post-date to czek sporządzony przez szufladę na datę w przyszłości. Niezależnie od tego, czy czek przedterminowy może zostać pobrany lub złożony przed datą wpisaną w niej, zależy od kraju. Na przykład bank kanadyjski nie powinien przeprowadzać sprawdzonego sprawdzenia, a jeśli tak to popełnia błąd, pisarz może poprosić swojego banku o poprawienie błędu.
