Prusy
Prusy (niemieckie: Preußen (pomoc · info)) było niemieckim królestwem i państwem historycznym, pochodzącym z Księstwa Pruskiego i Margraviate Brandenburgii i położonego pośrodku Prus. Przez wieki Dom Hohenzollern rządził Prusami, z powodzeniem powiększając jego rozmiar w drodze niezwykle dobrze zorganizowanej i skutecznej armii. Prusy ukształtowały historię Niemiec, z 1451 r. W Berlinie. W 1871 r. Państwa niemieckie zjednoczyły się w tworzeniu Cesarstwa Niemieckiego pod przywództwem pruskim. W listopadzie 1918 r. Monarchie zostały zniesione, a szlachta straciła władzę polityczną. Prusy zostały skutecznie zlikwidowane w 1932 roku, a oficjalnie zniesione w 1947 roku. Prusy pochodzą z Prusów Starych. W XIII wieku niemieckie krzyżowce, krzyżackie, podbili "Prusy Pruskie". W 1308 r. Krzyżacy podbili dawny polski region pomorski z Gdańskiem (Gdańsk). Stan klasztorny był najczęściej germalizowany przez imigrację z centralnego i zachodniego kraju, a na południu polonizowani przez osadników z Mazowsza.
