Suaeda
Suaeda jest rodzajem roślin znanym również jako seepweeds i seablites. Większość gatunków ogranicza się do siedlisk glebowych soli lub alkalicznych, takich jak przybrzeżne osady solne i pływające mokradła. Wiele gatunków ma grube, soczyste liście, charakterystyczne w różnych rodzajach roślin, które rosną w słonych siedliskach. W rodzaju Suaeda znajduje się około 110 gatunków. Jedna z jej odmian jest powszechna w tropikalnej Azji po brzegowej krawędzi bagien pływających na namorzynach. Inne gatunki polimorficzne występują w strefach pływowych całej Australii. Na wybrzeżach Morza Śródziemnego wspólnym gatunkiem Suaeda jest Suaeda vera. Jest to znane jako "krzepki morze-blite" w języku angielskim, w odróżnieniu od wspólnego morza. Wyrasta i tworzy krzak.
