Sonometr
Sonometr jest urządzeniem wykonanym z wydrążonego pudła o dwóch otworach. Do niego jest przymocowany sznurek, za pomocą którego mogą być badane poprzeczne drgania strun. Jest to również monochord, ponieważ często ma tylko jeden ciąg. Na drewnianym prostokątnym pudełku są dwa stałe mostki, blisko końców, a na jednym końcu koło pasowe.
