Trochoid
Trochoid wywodzi się z greckiego słowa na kołach, "trokhos". W tym sensie słowo "trochoid" zostało wymyślone przez Gillesa de Roberval za krzywą opisaną przez punkt stały, gdy koło kręci wzdłuż linii prostej.
