Indyjska mieszanka przypraw, często wytwarzana z ponad 20 prażonych i mielonych przypraw, najsłynniejsze odmiany to garam-masala (= "fajna mieszanka") i tandoori-masala, czerwono-pomarańczowa, używana do przyprawiania w tandoori (tradycyjny indyjski piekarnik). MASÁLA s. Amestec indian de condimente, realizat adesea din peste 20 de mirodenii prăjite și râșnite, cele mai cunoscute variante fiind garam-masala (= „amestec iute”) și tandoori-masala, de culoare roșie-oranj, utilizat pentru condimentarea preparatelor gătite în tandoori (cuptorul indian tradițional).
